In response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, our Collaborative Research Center TRR 190 seeks to fill the positions of
4-8 research associates
(“Gastwissenschaftler/innen” or “Stipendiaten/innen”) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, at different levels of experience and for a duration of one year.
This call for applications is addressed at academic scholars who are affected by the war in Ukraine. This includes applicants whose current place of residence is in Ukraine. Each positions’ pay grades will be determined according to the research associate’s experience, in accordance to guidelines that are used at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
The successful candidates will be included in the team of the CRC TRR 190, as postdoctoral researcher, doctoral researcher, or student research assistant. Successful candidates must be fluent English speakers, must have an undergraduate degree and have a least started graduate (Master-level) education. They will contribute to the CRC’s quantitative research in microeconomics. Our research includes the fields of behavioral economics, game theory, labor economics, industrial organization, organizational economics, trade economics, environmental economics, family/gender economics, and others. The call for applications is open to researchers with an educational background in economics, mathematics, statistics, business studies, quantitative subfields of psychology, and potentially other fields. The deadline for applications is 21 May, 2022 and the starting date for the positions is as soon as possible after the deadline. Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München will fund the research associates as guest researchers.
